News

On april 2004, two fragments of the water transportation system were discovered in the north zone of the city, one dated from the time of Matei Basarab (1632-1654) and the other one from the time of Constantin Brancoveanu (1688-1714).

• may 9-th, 2005 - "60 years since the end of the World War Two", anniversary exhibit and symposium.
• october 2005 - "The Dambovita education system. Time frames", a photo-documentary exhibit.
• march 2006 - "Urban life in Targoviste".
• august 2006 - "550 years since the ascending the throne of Vlad Tepes", exhibit, communications session.
• june 2007 - "The Royal Institution in Romania".
• september 2008 - "Radu cel Mare - 400".

The institution wants to reorganise the permanent exhibit in the next years (2005-2008), in order to create a museum of the Targoviste City, using an attractive presentation for the public.
